TRIATHLON - Rob Cousins & Pip

"Swim to raise money for dogs?  Cycle for dogs?  Or run for dogs?  I couldn't decide, so I

thought I'd do all three.  As my first triathlon, I wanted to do an event that really caught my eye and

inspired me.  I couldn't find one out of all the standard events run throughout the UK, so I thought I'd

make my own up.  That way I can make the route up according to exactly what I want to do, and also

our dog, Pip, can come along too, as he'll have a field day.

So, in mid-September, I'll be doing the Coast to Coast route as a triathlon:  a 25 mile run from the

Lake District coast to Coniston Water, then a 5 mile swim up Coniston Water, and finally a 150 mile

mountain bike ride across the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors to the Northumberland Coast.

All this, I'm hoping, will take 2 days - I'll be very happy with two days!

And hopefully also raise lots of money for dogs in Nepal!"

Watch this space as Rob trains for his triathlon and please sponsor him through the website - just-giving - www.justgiving.com/robcousins/

All proceeds will go to helping the HART project.
